Chase McCall (he/him/his) is a New York City resident who hails from Charlotte, North Carolina but was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. His passion for music and performance sparked with piano lessons at the age of 10, but flourished when he attended Northwest School of the Arts. The stage called to him when he saw the 2008 movie musical adaptation of “Hairspray”, so he decided to audition for the spring musical, Pippin. And guess what? He did NOT get cast just because he was a boy interested in musical theater. His dedication to improving led him to complete a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Western Carolina University to then continue his studies in the graduate program at NYU in Vocal Performance and Vocal Pedagogy. When Chase moved to Harlem in 2017, he made a reputation for himself not only as an actor, but as a vocal coach, accompanist, and eventual voice teacher. He can also be caught devouring the latest MCU content or out and about at an open mic night at a local bar. His passion for singing knows no bounds!
