Chase McCall
About Me
Chase McCall was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and grew up primarily in Charlotte, North Carolina, but has been a New York City resident since 2017. His passion for music and performance sparked with piano lessons at the age of 10, but flourished when he began his sophomore year of high school at Northwest School of the Arts. Through that heavily competitive creative environment, he learned very quickly that being a boy does not guarantee you a spot in the spring musical. So he doubled down his junior year and was cast in several productions between high school and community theatre production.
His dedication to improving his acting, singing, and dancing led him to begin a B.A. in Musical Theater at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke to then completing his undergraduate journey at Western Carolina University with B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. All the while his piano skills improved by accompanying peers in lessons, recitals, and coachings.
When Chase moved to West Harlem in 2017, he made a reputation for himself not only as an actor, but as a vocal coach and accompanist. All the while, his quiet passion for teaching came to light when he attended NYU for a Masters in Music for Music Theatre and Vocal Pedagogy in 2021. He dreams of running a fully operating vocal studio in the most exciting city in the world!
He can also be caught devouring the latest MCU content, playing video games with his partner, snuggling his adorable rescue MoMo, or out and about at an open mic night at a local bar. His passion for singing knows no bounds!
